DFW area volleyball player of the week hails from Frisco for second-straight week

Frisco Reedy senior Annie Swan is the latest winner for Dallas-Fort Worth volleyball player of the week. Lebanon Trail’s Rayna Williams won last week.

Swan had a MONSTER game in Reedy’s 3-2 win over Wakeland. She put in a game-high 27 kills with a 0.328 hitting percentage, 2 blocks and 9 digs. The Lions won 3-2 after dropping the first two games 26-28, 27-29, 25-23, 25-21, 15-12.

But Reedy and Swan didn’t stop there as they swept Frisco Memorial 25-14, 25-12, 25-13 on Friday.

Swan, again, led both teams with 9 kills. The Lions sit at 19-6 and 7-1, and are ranked as the No. 5 team in our DFW rankings.
