Celina High School is the latest school to get a massive, first-class upgrade.
The new Celina ISD Athletic Complex will cost $24.5 million and is scheduled to be completed in September 2019.
Here’s what it will look like:
Celina is just the latest school to join the Texas high school football stadium ranks.
Allen’s Eagle Stadium was built in 2012 and cost $60 million. Katy’s Legacy Stadium and McKinney ISD Stadium are more recent openings and have cost $70 million each. Mustang-Panther Stadium in Grapevine is getting renovated, which will cost $18 million.
Then there’s the Dallas Cowboys headquarters in Frisco at The Star, which cost $1.5 billion. It features the 12,000-seat Ford Center where Frisco ISD plays and also holds playoff games.
