The flaw on TCU’s rèsumè last season was its 2-9 record on the road, which likely kept the Horned Frogs out of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

TCU has a chance to surpass last year’s total with a win Saturday at Oklahoma State. With a victory, the Horned Frogs would also match the program’s high mark for Big 12 road wins in a season since joining the Big 12.

TCU (12-8, 4-5 in Big 12) will face one of the conference’s best defenses. Oklahoma State (15-4, 5-3) holds opponents to a league-best 33.3 percent from the field and 55.2 points per game.

TCU is shoting 43 percent from the field and 40.3 percent on 3-pointers, good enough for fifth in the nation.

Horned Frog senior guard Zahna Medley has the opportunity to reach two more milestones. She is 12 points shy of moving into second place on the school’s career scoring list and two assists shy on the career list.

“She’s aggressive and has a lot of energy,” West Virginia guard Bria Holmes said. “She’s a really good point guard. One of the best in the league I think.”
