Miles was the only rookie among the 10 starters named Thursday for the WNBA All-Star Game. Dallas Wings superstar Paige Bueckers and teammate Jessica Shepard were also selected as starters in a vote of fans, players and the media.
Miles has led the Lynx to the best record in the WNBA (15-4), all without the team’s best player, Napheesa Collier, who has been out injured. The point guard has averaged 18.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists. Miles led TCU to its second straight Elite Eight in March in her lone season with the Horned Frogs.
Bueckers, last season’s Rookie of the Year, earned her second straight starting nod. The guard has only improved in her sophomore season, averaging 19.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.9 assists while leading the Wings to an 11-8 record, which already surpasses their 10 wins during 2025.
The pair were also the top two vote getters among guards. Fans accounted for 50% of the vote, with media and players splitting the remaining 50%.
The top four guards and top six frontcourt players were selected as starters.
The other guards are the Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.
Wings rookie No. 1 overall draft pick Azzi Fudd was 10th among guards in voting. She was a fan favorite, ranking fourth in their guard voting, but was 15th in media voting and 28th with players.
Miles ranked No. 5 with fans, No. 1 with the media and No. 3 with players, while Bueckers ranked No. 1 with fans and players and No. 2 with the media.
Besides Shepard, the frontcourt starters are the Las Vegas Aces’ A’Ja Wilson, New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, Fever’s Aliyah Boston, Golden State Valkyries’ Gabby Williams and the Lynx’s Natasha Howard.
Shepard has been the Wings’ marquee signing of the offseason, with the forward averaging a career-high in points (14.3) rebounds (11.5) and assists (5.4) this season.
The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game will be played at 7:30 p.m. July 25 at Chicago’s United Center.
