TCU football stays hot on the recruiting by flipping safety from Louisiana Tech

TCU football stayed hot on the recruiting trail by flipping a safety from Louisiana on Friday.

The Horned Frogs added former Louisiana Tech commit Landon Johnson to the class after Johnson had been committed to the Bulldogs since March.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound safety is currently unranked by 247Sports, but also held offers from Arkansas State, Rice and UNLV among others.

Johnson had 21 tackles, eight passes defended and three interceptions for Madison Prep Academy in Baton Rogue as a junior.

Johnson is the third commitment TCU has landed in the last week joining Crowley offensive tackle Alexander Herrera and Houston Stratford offensive tackle Ty Greene. The Horned Frog currently have six commitments.
