One TCU baseball player makes All-Big 12 first team — FULL LIST

The TCU baseball team is preparing for its first game of the Big 12 Tournament, and ahead of the postseason, the league announced the All-Big 12 team Tuesday.

TCU had six players who earned honors, headlined by relief pitcher Tanner Sagouspe, who made the first team. The senior right-hander went 2-3 with a 2.51 ERA and five saves this season.

Starting pitcher Lance Davis made the second team after finishing the season with a shutout of West Virginia. The freshman Arkansas transfer went 5-3 with a 3.71 ERA.

Three Horned Frogs earned honorable mention. Junior outfielder Chase Brunson hit 304 with 10 home runs, 51 RBIs and 13 stolen bases; graduate student infielder Cole Cramer hit .313 with three home runs and 38 RBIs; and sophomore pitcher Zack James went 6-0 with 3.64 ERA.

Catcher Brady Dallimore made the all-freshman team after hitting .270 with eight home runs and 23 RBIs.

The Horned Frogs will open the Big 12 Tournament against the winner of Utah and Kansas State at 10 p.m. Wednesday in Surprise, Arizona.
