FINAL: Big 12 Tournament results — No. 1 seed comes out on top

TCU men’s basketball appears to have punched its NCAA Tournament ticket, but the Horned Frogs can improve their seeding with a run in the Big 12 Tournament this week in Kansas City, Missouri.

The sixth-seeded Horned Frogs (21-10) have a bye to the second round of the tournament. They will face No. 14 Oklahoma State (19-13), a 92-83 winner Tuesday over No. 11 Colorado (17-15), at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on ESPNU.

TCU beat Oklahoma State twice in the regular season, 68-65 on Jan. 20 at Schollmaier Arena and 95-92 in overtime on Feb. 14 in Stillwater.

TCU wrapped up the regular season with a 73-63 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday at Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs won eight of nine games to finish the season and avoid sweating out their spot on the NCAA Tournament bubble.
