Which TCU football players earned All-Big 12 honors?

Five TCU players earned spots on the All-Big 12 football team released Thursday.

Senior wide receiver Eric McAlister and senior linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr led the way for the Horned Frogs, earning first-team honors.

McAlister, a preseason All-Big 12 selection, led the conference with 1,121 yards, making 64 receptions with 10 touchdowns. The 1,121 yards are the second-most in a single season for a TCU receiver in program history.

Elarms-Orr led the conference with 119 total tackles, including 57 solo stops and four sacks. This is the second all-conference honor for Elarms-Orr, who was second-team All-Pac 12 in 2023 with California.

Three other TCU defensive players made the All-Big 12 second team.

Senior free safety Bud Clark was selected despite missing the final two regular-season games. Clark tied for second in the Big 12 with four interceptions, and he also had a defensive touchdown in the season opener against North Carolina.

Junior strong safety Jamel Johnson also earned second-team honors with 89 tackles, four interceptions and three passes defended.

Senior edge rusher Devean Deal also made the second team after producing 50 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble.

The Horned Frogs finished the regular season 8-4, closing the year with wins over Houston and Cincinnati. TCU will learn its bowl destination on Sunday.
