Which recruits signed with TCU football on Early Signing Day?
Early Signing Day is officially here, and TCU football put the finishing touches on its initial batch of 2026 recruits.
The biggest surprise was a positive one for the Horned Frogs, as TCU flipped three-star wide receiver Cooper Reid from Arizona State on Wednesday morning.
A standout at Dripping Springs, Reid had 112 receptions, 1,784 yards and 32 touchdowns the past two seasons, making him one of the most productive receivers in Texas.
The 6-foot-3 Reid is ranked the No. 149 receiver in the nation and the No. 141 overall prospect in the state, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is No. 1,052 overall nationally.
TCU signed 21 players, and the Horned Frogs’ recruiting class ranks No. 37 overall and No. 6 in the Big 12, according to 247Sports.
TCU previously added Oklahoma State offensive lineman Noah McKinney in the transfer portal.
National Signing Day is Feb. 4.
Here’s who else signed TCU with on Early Signing Day, listed with hometowns (high schools clarified when necessary):
DL Maddox Flynt (Austin, Westlake HS): The 6-1, 275 pound three-star defensive linemen was the first signee the school announced on social media. Flint is ranked No. 1,264 nationally and No. 177 in the state.

S Jason Bradford (Temple): Bradford, listed as 6-2.5, 195 pounds, should bring great size and length to the Horned Frogs’ secondary. TCU flipped the four-star defensive back, ranked No. 408 nationally and No. 53 in the state, from Oklahoma State in June.
RB Amante Martin (Port Arthur, Memorial HS): A slightly bigger back than Graham, Martin is listed at 5-11.5, 185 pounds. Ranked the No. 658 prospect nationally and No. 91 in the state, the three-star recruit picked TCU over Houston, Kentucky and California.
CB Zachary Taylor (Fulshear, Katy Jordan): The Horned Frogs were able to convince the talented, three-star cornerback to remain in-state after Taylor committed to Wisconsin. Taylor flipped to TCU in July and gives the class the No. 496 prospect overall and No. 66 in the state.
QB Jack Daulton (The Woodlands): Daulton, listed at 6-1.5, 180 pounds, is ranked the 37th-best quarterback in the nation and held an offer from Oklahoma State, among others. He is ranked No. 630 nationally and No. 83 in the state.

WR Ayson Theus (Duncanville): Theus is one of the most electric players in the state and could help the Duncanville capture another state championship. Theus isn’t the biggest, standing at just 5-8, 165 pounds, but he makes up for it with his speed. He is ranked No. 824 nationally and No. 117 in the state.
CB Brock King (Port Arthur, Memorial HS): A teammate of Martin at Port Arthur Memorial, King, listed at 5-9, 178 pounds, is ranked No. 1,219 nationally and No. 170 in the state.

WR James Scott (Conroe, Oak Ridge HS): The 6-4.5 receiver was the last signature announced by the Horned Frogs on Early Signing Day, and he has perhaps the most upside in the class. Scott is ranked No. 630 nationally and No. 83 in the state.
OL Noah McKinney (Henderson, Nevada, Oklahoma State): A midseason transfer pickup from the Cowboys, McKinney projects to be a plug-and-play starter for the Horned Frogs after starting multiple games for Oklahoma State. McKinney will have one year of eligibility.
