TCU football will return to the friendly confines of Amon G. Carter Stadium on Saturday to potentially shake off last week’s last-second defeat at Arizona State.
The Horned Frogs (3-1, 0-1 Big 12), who fell out of the Associated Press Top 25 after the loss, will host head coach Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes in a rematch of the 2023 season opener when Sanders, his son Shedeur and Travis Hunter shocked the college football world by upsetting TCU just months after it played in the national championship game.
Colorado (2-3, 0-2) is off to slow start to the season, but this game will still be one of the marquee matchups on the Horned Frogs’ schedule because of Sanders’ history as a Dallas Cowboy legend and because of the way that game in 2023 played out.
