TCU football lands this Weatherford offensive lineman over Houston, Northwestern
The TCU football program added another commitment to its 2026 recruiting class on Tuesday, July 1.
Weatherford offensive lineman Rhett Gray announced his commitment to the Horned Frogs on his social media account and became the seventh prospect to commit since mid-June.
Listed at 6-foot-6, 290 pounds Gray was a fast riser up the recruiting rankings this offseason after playing left tackle at Weatherford.
Gray is currently ranked the No. 65 tackle nationally and the No. 124 prospect in the state. Gray took an official visit to TCU on June 19, and the Horned Frogs were successful in selling Gray on how he would fit into the program.
TCU beat out Houston and Northwestern for his services.
Gray will join linemen four-star Vincent Johnson and three stars Jordan Burnett and Devan Robison in TCU’s recruiting class. The Horned Frogs currently have 16 prospects committed and now have the No. 36 class in the country and the No. 4 class in the Big 12.
