Plano safety Bradley Brown commits to TCU
TCU stayed hot on the recruiting trail Tuesday with a commitment from a local standout.
Plano High safety Bradley Brown announced his commitment to the Horned Frogs on his social media account.
“I just want to say thank you to every coach who believed in me and gave me their time an an opportunity to get one step closer to my dream,” Brown said in a statement. “I wouldn’t be here without anyone but God. Let’s work! Go Frogs!”
Brown is ranked the No. 65 safety in the country and No. 115 in the state of Texas in the 247Sports composite rankings.
Listed at 6-foot, 175 pounds, Brown took an official visit to TCU on May 30, where the Horned Frogs made a strong impression. Brown also took a visit to Missouri last weekend, but ultimately opted to stay close to home with TCU.
Last season Brown had 69 tackles, two stops for loss and a sack. Brown was also a Texas 6A state qualifier as a junior in the long jump, posting a season-best 23-8. he also ran a 10.87 100 and a 22.41 200.
Brown is TCU’s ninth commitment in the Class of 2026 and the second prospect to join the class from the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area along with Arlington Martin standout Jesse Ford.
The Horned Frogs’ class currently ranks No. 46 nationally and No. 8 in the Big 12.
