TCU safety Kollin Collier enters the transfer portal
TCU safety Kollin Collier entered the transfer portal on Saturday, the Star-Telegram has learned.
Collier was apart of TCU’s 2025 signing class as a junior college defensive back from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. Collier signed with the Horned Frogs in December and went through spring camp.
Collier missed time during winter workouts with an injury according to a source and mostly ran with the third team in the spring.
Collier is the fourth Horned Frog to enter the portal during the spring window including offensive lineman Mitch Hodnett, tight end Cole Snodgrass and defensive lineman Avion Carter.
Carter is the most significant departure as he was a former four-star recruit, but he appeared in just four games in two seasons and wasn’t a guarantee to crack the two deep after spring camp.
The Horned Frogs open the season at North Carolina on Sept. 1.
