TCU men’s basketball will compete in tournament in San Diego
The TCU men’s basketball team will compete in the 2025 Rady Children’s Invitational in San Diego on Nov. 27-28 2025.
The four-team event will be broadcast nationally on FOX or FS1.
Defending national champion Florida, Providence and Wisconsin will compete in the tournament. The championship and third-place matchups will be held on Nov. 28.
All games will be held at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on the campus of the University of San Diego. Tip times will be announced at a later date.
It will be a major opportunity for TCU to pick up a marquee win in a field that features so many quality teams. The Gators could contend for a national repeat while Wisconsin has made the NCAA Tournament four of the last five seasons.
Providence struggled last season with a 12-20 record, but could bounce back. A meeting with the Friars would also allow TCU transfer Jayden Pierre to face his former team.
The Horned Frogs went 16-16 last season, missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021. TCU has rebuilt its roster with a portal class led by Pierre and Iowa transfer Brock Harding.
