TCU forward Isaiah Manning enters transfer portal
TCU forward Isaiah Manning has entered the transfer portal, the Star-Telegram learned on Monday, March 24.
It’s not a surprise to see the redshirt freshman enter the portal after playing sparingly in his two seasons in Fort Worth. Manning redshirted in 2023 and appeared in 24 games this season.
Manning averaged 2.0 points and 0.8 rebounds as he averaged less than 10 minutes per game. The former Mansfield Legacy standout desired a bigger role, but the Horned Frogs have a strong nucleus at forward with freshmen David Punch, Micah Robinson and Jace Posey.
The Horned Frogs are optimistic they can keep all three at this point.
Manning is the second Horned Frogs to enter the portal, joining guard Vasean Allette who announced his intentions to enter the portal on Saturday.
As for incoming transfers, the Horned Frogs are closing in on Iowa guard transfer Brock Harding. Head coach Jamie Dixon is reportedly hosting Harding on a visit this week and the Horned Frogs are among the finalists for the services of the point guard.
