TCU women’s basketball remains at No. 9 in latest AP Top 25
After a historic 80-75 win over No. 25 Baylor on Sunday, TCU women’s basketball remained at No. 9 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The Horned Frogs were in a danger of slipping out of the top-10 after blowing a fourth quarter lead in a 60-59 loss to Oklahoma State on Jan. 22, but defeating the Bears for the first time in 35 years was enough to keep the Horned Frogs at No. 9.
Now the program will able to get plenty of rest ahead of two pivotal road games. TCU has the entire week off until it returns to action in Ames against Iowa State on Sunday.
Then the Horned Frogs will travel to No. 10 Kansas on Feb. 5 in a game that could decide the Big 12.
