TCU women’s basketball rises to No. 17 ahead of showdown with No. 3 Notre Dame
TCU women’s basketball continued to climb up the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll with the Horned Frogs rising to No. 17.
It’s the program’s highest AP ranking in 20 years. After picking up a ranked win over N.C. State last Sunday, the Horned Frogs (6-0) added two more wins over Incarnate World and Idaho State.
Hailey Van Lith scored 27 points in the win over Idaho State on Sunday and 19 against the Cardinals on Nov. 21. Sedona Prince averaged 17.5 points during the wins and Madison Conner averaged 17 points while knocking down nine 3-pointers.
The Horned Frogs will now prepare for another massive ranked matchup against No. 3 Notre Dame (5-0) in the Cayman Islands Classic on Friday, Nov. 29 at 4 p.m.. TCU will also face South Florida on Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. in the second game of the classic.
