TCU women’s basketball lands in top 20 of latest AP Top 25 poll

After a historic win over North Carolina State Sunday, TCU women’s basketball earned a significant achievement.

The Horned Frogs were ranked No. 19 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 ranking, the highest for the program since 2008. Led by Sedona Prince and Hailey Van Lith, the Horned Frogs are off to a 4-0 start including the win over the Wolfpack, which were ranked No. 13 headed into Sunday’s game.

Prince had 31 points and 16 rebounds while Van Lith added 18 points and 10 assists in the massive win over the Wolfpack.

The ranking marks the Horned Frogs’ earliest Associated Press poll placement in 14 years. TCU had not been ranked in November since the 2010-11 season. The Horned Frogs return to action at noon Thursday against Incarnate World.
