TCU adds Cedar Hill linebacker to Top 25 recruiting class
TCU’s 2023 recruiting class continues to grow stronger with another commitment.
Cedar Hill linebacker Kylan Salter became the second prospect to commit to TCU this week, joining Round Rock running back Cameron Cook in the Horned Frogs’ Top 25 recruiting class.
Listed at 6-1, 210 pounds Salter is ranked the No. 620 prospect nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings and just outside the Top 50 in Texas.
Salter visited TCU on June 17 and also considered Colorado. Salter led Cedar Hill in tackles per game, averaging 9.7 in 13 contests.
The linebacker is a two-sport athlete that also ran track for the Longhorns as a junior. Salter is the 17th commitment for TCU and moved the Horned Frogs up to No. 24 in 247Sports’ recruiting class rankings.
