TCU football is in the mix for LSU transfer LB Josh White
TCU football is in the mix for LSU transfer linebacker Josh White.
White announced his intentions to transfer earlier this week and posted on social media that TCU had given him an offer. A source said White is expected to visit the program next weekend (April 9), or the following weekend (April 16).
White is being targeted by several other schools, too, including Baylor. White was recruited to LSU by Baylor coach Dave Aranda. White is expected to visit the Bears this weekend.
White, a four-star prospect coming out of Houston Cy Creek in 2020, appeared in 10 games and finished with six tackles as a true freshman in 2020. He didn’t play last season due to an injury.
TCU is looking to bolster its linebacker corps, transitioning to a 3-3-5 defensive scheme under Joe Gillespie. The Frogs had the 119th total defense in the country last season.
