TCU Frogs vs. No. 22 Texas: Big 12 basketball lineups, TV, time, score, prediction
TCU sophomore guard Mike Miles has no complaints about an early tip-off time to kick off the day’s Big 12 Tournament action. The 5-seed Horned Frogs will take on the 4-seed Texas Longhorns at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
“I like earlier games,” Miles said. “I don’t like playing at 7 p.m. or 8 p.m., so it’s better for me. I’m not really a morning person, but, when it comes to playing basketball, I’ll be up and ready for the game.”
So will the Longhorns.
“I wake up early every day,” UT senior guard Courtney Ramey said. “I’m ready to play anytime of the day.”
For TCU, it will be looking to avenge a regular-season sweep by Texas. The Longhorns won the rebounding battle the first two meetings, and forced a number of turnovers in winning games by 23 points in Fort Worth and nine points in Austin.

Prediction
TCU has had two forgettable games against Texas so far this season. The Longhorns rolled the Frogs 73-50 in Fort Worth on Jan. 25, and then rallied back in the second half for a 75-66 victory in Austin on Feb. 23. The Frogs looked like a better team much of the game in Austin until falling apart late. TCU will learn from its mistakes and avoid being a three-time loser to UT. TCU 73, Texas 68.
