TCU basketball is without its leading scorer for now.

Sophomore guard Mike Miles reaggravated his right wrist injury during practice Friday, and also sustained a left wrist injury this week. He didn’t play in TCU’s 75-63 loss to Kansas State on Saturday night and is considered day-to-day.

TCU coach Jamie Dixon said X-rays came back negative and showed no damage that would require surgery. However, it’s been a lingering injury for Miles since he initially injured his right (shooting) wrist in the Baylor game on Jan. 8.

Dixon said it’ll be Miles’ call as far as when he returns to the lineup.

“It’s not our call, it’s his call,” Dixon said.

The Frogs return to action Tuesday against Oklahoma State.

Miles is leading the team with 15.4 points and 4.2 assists per game. He’s also averaging 3.9 rebounds per game.

The Frogs replaced Miles in the starting lineup with junior guard Francisco Farabello, who made his first start since the Nov. 22 game vs. Santa Clara. Farabello finished with a career-high 14 points on 4 of 11 shooting against K-State.
