TCU picked 6th in latest Big 12 football preseason poll, Oklahoma picked as favorite
Oklahoma was chosen to finish first for the fifth consecutive year in the Big 12 football preseason poll, voted on by media representatives.
TCU was voted sixth.
The Sooners top the Big 12 preseason poll for the eighth time since 2011 while capturing the last five league titles.
OU received 80 of 90 first-place votes while Oklahoma State was picked second with six first-place votes. Texas was third with four first-place and Iowa State and Baylor rounded out the Top 5.
The Big 12 championship game is scheduled for Dec. 5 at AT&T Stadium.

On Thursday, TCU linebacker Garret Wallow and safety Trevon Moehrig were named to the All-Big 12 preseason football team. OU and Texas led the conference with five selections apiece.
