TCU’s radio crew had the best football call in the state last season
TCU had the best live sports play-by-play call in the state last year.
The Texas Associated Press Broadcasters named TCU’s football call during the Horned Frogs’ 34-13 victory at Purdue as the top broadcast in the major market category.
It’s the 13th time since 2003 for TCU to receive the award.
Brian Estridge has been the “voice of the Horned Frogs” for the last 20 years. John Denton, a former kicker at TCU, has been the color analyst for the past 31 years.
Former player Landry Burdine is the sideline reporter, and Kyle Tait is the studio host.
TCU’s radio broadcasts originate from flagship station WBAP 820 AM.
