TCU basketball lands in preseason Associated Press Top 25

TCU’s Jamie Dixon has called his team a work in progress.

But clearly, preseason voters think highly of Dixon and his players in his third season as head coach of his alma mater.

On Monday, the Associated Press released its annual preseason top 25 poll, and the Frogs are ranked No. 20.

There are three other teams from the Big 12 that cracked the ranking, including No. 1 Kansas, No. 12 Kansas State and No. 13 West Virginia.

TCU will open the regular season schedule when it hosts CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 7.
