Former TCU player was ‘star of the game’ against Cowboys, according to Russell Wilson
TCU’s offense turned in a poor performance against Texas in Austin on Saturday.
But one former Frogs standout was busy making the most of his start at center in the NFL on Sunday.
Due to an injury to the team’s starter, center Joey Hunt was pressed into action when his team hosted the Dallas Cowboys.
Seattle prevailed 24-13. And according to Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Hunt deserves plenty of recognition for a strong performance.
From 2012 to 2015, Hunt anchored some excellent offensive lines for TCU head coach Gary Patterson, including the 2014 squad that won the Peach Bowl.
In the 2016 NFL Draft, Hunt was selected by the Seattle Seahawks during the sixth round (No. 216 overall). He’s spent almost all of his brief pro career as a backup.
