TCU moves up a spot in latest AP poll. How many Big 12 teams are in it?
TCU has moved up a spot in the Associated Press’ Top 25 poll.
The Frogs were bumped up to No. 15 in the latest poll released Sunday. TCU is off to a 2-0 start and are facing its biggest test to date with a matchup against No. 4 Ohio State on Saturday at AT&T Stadium.
TCU had been ranked No. 16 in the preseason poll and the poll after Week 1. Oklahoma is the highest-ranked Big 12 team at No. 5 followed by West Virginia at No. 14. Oklahoma State is No. 24 in the latest poll as well.
No other Big 12 schools received votes.
The Frogs are off to a 2-0 start after rallying to beat SMU last Friday night. TCU beat Southern in the season opener, outscoring its first two opponents by a score of 97-19.
ESPN announced that it’ll host “College GameDay” on the TCU campus next Saturday, as it pegged the Ohio State-TCU matchup as the best of the week. TCU is 6-0 when taking part in the GameDay festivities.
