TCU won the men’s 4x100 relay at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships on Sunday in Ames, Iowa.
The Frogs relay team of Ramone Bailey, Ronnie Baker, Sam Watts and Kolby Listenbee won with a time of 39.28.
It was an otherwise tough day for TCU, with the men’s team finishing seventh with 67 points and the women’s team last with 15 points.
Texas won both team titles.

TCU was second in the men’s 4x400 relay with a time of 3:06.89.
On that team were Lavon Collins, Kevin McClanahan, Joshua Washington and Baker.
Baker capped his busy day by finishing third in the 100-meter dash in 9.99.
In other TCU news:
▪ Baseball: The top-seeded Frogs will play No. 8 Baylor at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on the first day of the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in Tulsa.
Other first-round games are No. 5 Texas vs. No. 4 Texas Tech at 9 a.m., No. 6 Kansas State vs. No. 3 Oklahoma at 4 p.m., and No. 7 West Virginia vs. No. 2 Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m.
▪ Oklahoma: Paige Parker pitched a 3-hit shutout, leading the Sooners to a 2-0 victory over Texas A&M for the championship of the Norman Regional.
The Sooners (48-7) will play at No. 6 Alabama in the Super Regional. The first game is set for 6 p.m. Friday. The second game is 4 p.m. Saturday and a third to follow if necessary.
▪ Baylor: The Bears won two games and forced a third game Sunday night against Louisiana Lafayette at the Lafayette Regional. The Bears beat Mississippi State 2-0 and Louisiana Lafayette 6-2.
Big 12 baseball
▪ Baylor 7-1, Texas 1-11: Baylor and Texas split a doubleheader on the last day of the regular season. The Bears won the opener 7-1, the Longhorns the second game 11-1.
A&M seeded third
Texas A&M will be the No. 3 seed when the Southeastern Conference baseball tournament begins Tuesday in Hoover, Ala.
The Aggies received a first-round bye and will play either Mississippi or Alabama at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
