Nolan Brown went 3 for 5 with a home run and three RBI as TCU beat Oklahoma 11-9 Friday night at Mitchell Park.
Trailing 2-0 heading into the fourth inning, TCU (42-9, 17-5 Big 12) came alive offensively against Oklahoma starter Robert Tasin, scoring four runs on five hits — three of which were home runs. Jeremie Fagnan led off the inning with a home run to center, Brown added a two-run shot to left and Derek Odell a solo shot to left.
The lead was short-lived as TCU starter Preston Morrison gave up three runs in the bottom of the fifth and two more in the sixth. In all Morrison gave up seven runs — five earned — on nine hits while striking out four in 52/3 innings.
The Horned Frogs, who clinched the Big 12 regular-season title Thursday, came from behind again. They scored three runs on four hits in the eighth to take an 11-7 lead.

In the ninth, Brian Howard gave up a lead-off double and a walk before being replaced by closer Riley Ferrell. Despite giving up a two-run single to Tasin, Ferrell was able to nail down his 14th save.
