Art Briles’ new coaching job brings immediate scorn
Art Briles is coaching again. And many aren’t happy about it.
The former Baylor head football coach was hired as an offensive assistant by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League. Former SMU coach June Jones is the Hamilton head coach.
The #Ticats have added Art Briles to the team's coaching staff as Assistant Head Coach Offence.

Briles was fired from Baylor in May 2016 after a sexual assault scandal enveloped the program.
Briles’ past wasn’t addressed in Hamilton’s release, which drew derision from some on social media. Jones joined the Hamilton staff as an assistant earlier in the month and was named the head coach four days ago. He coached SMU from 2008-14 and Hawaii from 1999-07.
Any half decent company, team, etc. would address the obvious elephant in the room. Now instead they get the horrific tweets aimed their way

I am the father of a daughter and I will not be supporting this hire. As a result I will not be attending anymore games.

This man enabled the rape of dozens of women, destroying many lives. Shame on you Hamilton Tiger cats!

I'm absolutely ashamed to be a fan of this team.
