Plan your college football Saturday: How to watch Texas vs. Oklahoma and more

One of the biggest annual college football games returns to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on Saturday with the 121st playing of the Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma.

The Sooners will be looking for revenge after last year’s blowout 34-3 loss.

Here’s your college football planner for this weekend, with games involving top Texas teams listed in chronological order:

No. 24 South Florida (4-1, 1-0 American) at North Texas (5-0, 1-0)

When: 6:30 p.m. Friday

Where: DATCU Stadium, Denton

TV: ESPN2; streaming on the ESPN website and app

Betting line: North Texas -1.5, total 66.5

Last week: North Texas had the week off to prepare for its biggest game of the season to date, and hopes a win will earn the Mean Green their first ranking in the Associated Press poll since the Eisenhower administration (1959). The Bulls are coming off back-to-back blowout victories and will look to continue their winning ways.

Stanford (2-3, 1-1 ACC) at SMU (3-2, 1-0)

When: 11 a.m. Saturday

Where: Gerald J. Ford Stadium, Dallas

TV: CW; streaming on the CW’s website

Betting line: SMU -19.5, total 55.5

Last week: SMU opened ACC play with a 31-18 victory over Syracuse, scoring 24 points in the first half. Stanford had a bye.

No. 6 Oklahoma (5-0, 1-0 SEC) vs. Texas (3-2, 0-1)

When: 2:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Cotton Bowl, Dallas

TV: ABC; streaming on the ESPN website and app

Betting line: Texas -1.5, total 43.5

Last week: Texas is coming off an upset 29-21 loss at Florida, as quarterback Arch Manning's struggles continued with two interceptions. The Sooners are coming off a 44-0 rout of Kent State and hope quarterback John Mateer will be able to make his return after suffering a broken bone in his throwing hand in a 24-17 win over Auburn on Sept. 20.

TCU (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) at Kansas State (2-4, 1-2)

When: 2:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Bill Snyder Family Stadium, Manhattan Kan.

TV: Fox; streaming on the Fox Sports website and app

Betting line: TCU -1.5, total 55.5

Last week: The Horned Frogs held on against Colorado 35-21 for their first Big 12 victory of the year. The Wildcats will try and rebound from a 35-34 loss to Baylor, which is on a bye before playing at TCU on Oct. 18.

Florida (2-3, 1-1 SEC) at No. 5 Texas A&M (5-0, 2-0)

When: 6 p.m. Saturday

Where: Kyle Field, College Station

TV: ESPN; streaming on the ESPN website or app

Betting line: Texas A&M -7.5, total 47.5

Last week: The Aggies remained undefeated with a 31-9 victory over Mississippi State and will try and avoid sharing the same fate as Texas last week, when the Longhorns fell to Florida 29-21 in an upset.

Kansas (4-2, 2-1 Big 12) at No. 9 Texas Tech (5-0, 2-0)

When: 6:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Jones AT&T Stadium, Lubbock

TV: Fox; streaming on the Fox Sports website and app

Betting line: Texas Tech -14.5, total 59.5

Last week: The Red Raiders have won every game this season by at least 24 points, with the latest a 35-11 victory over Houston. Kansas is coming off a 27-20 win at Central Florida.
