Plan your college football Saturday: How to watch Texas, Texas A&M and more

The college football season is in full swing, and Texas teams have gotten off to a hot start, with none more surprising than North Texas.

The Mean Green, who are on a bye this week, are undefeated at 5-0 and have a shot at making the Associated Press Top 25 if they can pull off a win vs. South Florida on Oct. 10.

Here’s you college football planner for Saturday, with games listed in chronological order:

Kansas State (2-3, 1-1 Big 12) at Baylor (3-2, 1-1)

When: 11 a.m. Saturday

Where: McLane Stadium, Waco

TV: Streaming on ESPN+

Betting Line: Baylor -6.5, total 61.5

Last Week: The Bears are coming off a 45-27 win over Oklahoma State in their second-highest scoring game of the season. The Wildcats handed Central Florida its first loss of the year, 34-20, to break their two-game losing streak.

No. 9 Texas (3-1, 0-0 SEC) at Florida (1-3, 0-1)

When: 2:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Gainesville, Fla.

TV: ESPN; streaming on ESPN website or app

Betting Line: Texas -6.5, total 41.5

Last Week: Texas will start its conference schedule with a matchup against a struggling Florida team. The Longhorns, who had a bye last week, have won three straight after their season-opening loss at Ohio State, including a 55-0 victory over Sam Houston in their last outing Sept. 20. The Gators, who also had a bye last week, have lost three straight, including 26-7 at Miami on Sept. 20.

Syracuse (3-2, 1-1 ACC) at SMU (2-2, 0-0)

When: 2:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Gerald J. Ford Stadium, Dallas

Betting Line: SMU -17.5, total 58.5

Last Week: SMU is playing its first game since a 35-24 loss to TCU in the final Battle for the Iron Skillet and will open ACC play against the Orange, who are coming off a 38-3 home loss to Duke.

No. 11 Texas Tech (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) at Houston (4-0, 1-0)

When: 6 p.m. Saturday

Where: TDECU Stadium, Houston

TV: ESPN; streaming on ESPN website or app

Betting Line: Texas Tech -10.5, total 50.5

Last Week: Texas Tech had a bye last week after a 34-10 win at Utah, which has cemented the Red Raiders as the favorites in the Big 12. Houston is coming off a 27-24 overtime win at Oregon State.

Colorado (2-3, 0-2 Big 12) at TCU (3-1, 0-1)

When: 6:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Amon G. Carter Stadium, Fort Worth

TV: Fox; streaming on Fox Sports website or app

Betting Line: TCU -13.5, total 57.5

Last Week: TCU lost 27-24 in its Big 12 opener at Arizona State. The Buffaloes also have yet to win a Big 12 game, losing 24-21 to BYU at home last week.

Mississippi State (4-1, 0-1 SEC) at No. 6 Texas A&M (4-0, 1-0)

When: 6:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Kyle Field, College Station

TV: SEC Network; streaming on ESPN website or app

Betting Line: Texas A&M -14.5, total 55.5

Last Week: The Aggies earned a 16-10 home victory over Auburn in their SEC opener and will try to beat a Bulldogs team coming off its first loss of the season, 41-34 to Tennessee in overtime.
