The college football season is in full swing, and Texas teams have gotten off to a hot start, with none more surprising than North Texas.
The Mean Green, who are on a bye this week, are undefeated at 5-0 and have a shot at making the Associated Press Top 25 if they can pull off a win vs. South Florida on Oct. 10.

Last Week: Texas will start its conference schedule with a matchup against a struggling Florida team. The Gators, who also had a bye last week, have lost three straight, including 26-7 at Miami on Sept. 20.
