Transfer portal rankings: How well have Texas college football teams recruited
Recruiting website 247 Sports ranked the top 25 transfer classes in the country and placed LSU at No.1 but had three programs from Texas in the top 25.
Which teams made the list?
Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Baylor all placed in the top 25 with the Red Raiders receiving the highest ranking, coming in at No. 2 on the list.
Texas Tech had the nation’s second most four-star recruits (7), with offensive lineman Hunter Zambrano, from Illinois State University, and edge rusher Romello Height, from Georgia Tech, leading the way as its top two additions.
Next on the list was Texas A&M which was ranked No. 5 and had a focus on wide receivers with three of its top four recruits playing the position including former Red Raider Micah Hudson as well as KC Concepcion and Mario Craver from NC State and Mississippi State.
The Bears were ranked No. 25 in the country and their top transfer was ex-Auburn Tigers quarterback Walker White who was also the team’s lone four-star addition.
