Tickets, traffic and tools for navigating Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth

The fight for the plaid jacket at the longest-running PGA tournament returns to Fort Worth this month.

The Charles Schwab Challenge occurs every May at Colonial Country Club. This year, golfers will compete at the 80th annual tournament from May 25 until May 31. Pre-tournament competition goes until May 27, and round one begins on May 28. The final round takes place on Sunday, May 31.

In honor of the tournament’s 80th anniversary, Kincaid’s Burgers will also celebrate its 80th birthday by serving burgers around the course. Spectators will also find other Fort Worth favorites like Heim BBQ, Salsa Limon and Buffalo Bros in the Food Truck Fairway.

2025 champion Ben Griffin will return to the challenge, as well as other familiar favorites like Rickie Fowler, rising star Ludvig Åberg and Charles Schwab “Champion’s Choice” invitees, Nick Dunlap and Mason Howell.

Gallery tickets are still available for those who want to go. But for those who aren’t going, here’s what to know about road closures and traffic.
