FC Barcelona, Club América to play friendly match in Dallas next month

Two major international soccer clubs will meet in North Texas next month.

FC Barcelona and Club América are facing off in a friendly match at 8 p.m. Dec. 21. at the Cotton Bowl. Proceeds from the match will go to help the victims of Hurricane Otis, which decimated Acapulco in early November.

Presale tickets for the match went on sale Tuesday morning via Fair Park’s website. For the presale code, visit the link here or text MATCH to 833-372-7536.

Public tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on Fair Park’s website.

The friendly match between the two international heavyweights will broadcast globally through Univision and Televisa, according to WFAA-TV.

This is FC Barcelona’s second time playing at the 91,000 capacity Cotton Bowl, after facing Juventus in July 2022. That friendly match would end in a 2-2 draw.
