North Texas has another chance of severe weather this week.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible east of the Interstate 35 corridor during the afternoon hours on Monday, April 13, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. There’s another low chance west of the I-35 corridor in the evening.

Scattered thunderstorms are in the mix for the region on Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15. There’s a chance for strong to severe storms in the afternoon and evening hours on both days, with large hail and damaging winds possible.

The severe threat will be north of U.S. Route 377 and State Highway 121 late Tuesday into early Wednesday, per the NWS. In addition, more isolated non-severe thunderstorms are possible across parts of Central and Northeast Texas.

While more widespread storms are expected across much of North and Central Texas on Wednesday, rain and cloud cover will impact where/if severe weather will occur in the afternoon and evening hours.

Storms are expected to exit the region to the northeast late Wednesday into early Thursday, April 16.
