After a flurry of storms early Memorial Day morning, the Dallas-Fort Worth region is expected to get drenched again this evening..

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth issued a flood warning in several North Texas counties, including Tarrant County, beginning Monday evening through Tuesday morning, when 1 to 3 inches of rain is forecast. The NWS predicts flooding of up to 4 to 6 inches.

Scattered showers will go throughout the day but heavy rain and thunderstorms will commence after 4 p.m. Though storms will pass before 10 p.m., rain will continue on through Monday night into early Tuesday morning.

The temperature will remain warm, with a high near 80 and a low around 66. Wind will also stay mild around 10 mph.

Stay weather aware ahead of Memorial Day activities. Do not drive in water of unknown depth and allow extra travel time for possible flooding.
