After a rainy start to the week, conditions look to calm down on Election Day.
Much of North Texas was under a tornado watch for most of the afternoon on Monday, Nov. 4, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. Plenty of rain and strong winds were also felt across the region.
Conditions on Election Day will be calm and cool, per the NWS.
A cold front will move through the region on Tuesday morning, with lingering rain showers near and east of Interstate 35.
Rain chances decrease going into Tuesday afternoon and don’t come back into the forecast until Wednesday evening, according to the NWS. Tuesday morning lows will be in the mid-50s, warming up to the upper 60s in the afternoon.
