Many North Texans woke up Monday morning to rain and temperatures in the 70s. By Monday afternoon, rain chances will diminish and stay relatively dry overnight.

Rain chances return on Tuesday afternoon and increase going into the evening hours for a 40% chance of storms, Fano said.

Storms will continue into Wednesday morning for a 20% chance of rain. By Wednesday afternoon, the storm system will push out of Dallas-Fort Worth, and skies will stay dry Thursday.

There’s a 20% chance of storms Friday, and the rest of the weekend is expected to stay dry. Weekend temperatures will warm up to the high 80s, but the region isn’t expected to reach 90 degrees, Fano said.
