Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County

No deliveries of means on Tuesday, Jan. 16, due to unsafe driving conditions on side streets. “Although driving conditions have improved on major roads, we continue to see patchy ice on sidewalks, stairs, and some neighborhood streets, which creates unsafe conditions for our volunteers. We anticipate being able to reopen and safely deliver meals on Wednesday. We plan for these types of weather events and have already delivered shelf-stable meals for our clients to keep on hand for just such an occasion. Please remember to check in on your elderly friends and neighbors.”

Tarrant County offices

County Judge Tim O’Hare posted on social media around noon Monday that “barring something unforeseen, Tarrant County offices will open tomorrow (Tuesday, January 16th) at their regular time.”
