Ready for Black Friday shopping in Texas? Here are all the top holiday deals
Texas shoppers have a little over a week to get ready for Black Friday on Nov. 29.
While not an official holiday like Thanksgiving, many refer to Black Friday as a “retail holiday.” Black Friday also serves as the unofficial start of the Christmas shopping season.
More than 131 million Americans are expected to shop in-person or online on Black Friday this year, according to the National Retail Federation.
With many retailers offering Black Friday deals, shoppers may be curious where to find the biggest discounts.
The Personal finance website WalletHub put together a study examining over 4,300 deals from 13 major U.S. retailers. Each retailer was evaluated by pre-discount and discounted prices using its website and Black Friday.com.

JCPenney is offering an average discount of 76.2%.
The retailer is offering major deals on a variety of clothing items and jewelry, including a $27,083 engagement ring marked down to $11,374 a 58% discount.

Which Texas retailer is offering the best deals on clothing?
JCPenny again takes the top spot, offering an average discount of 52.82% on clothing.
There are discounts on a variety of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing. A $100 women’s jacket is 55% off to $44, while men’’s flannel shirts are marked down 54% from $44 to $19.

Which Texas retailer is offering the best deals on electronics?
Kohl’s is on top for the best Black Friday deal on electronics at 39.29%.
A few deals include an Amazon Fire Tablet marked down from $179 to $84, and an Apple Watch discounted from $95 to $39.
