Lee didn’t say where he and his family had moved to in Texas, just that they were all in the Lone Star State.

Earlier this year, Lee went on a food tour of North Texas and stopped by Fort Worth’s Taste Community Restaurant.

Lee called Taste one of the “dopest restaurants” he has ever seen and praised the eatery’s “pay-what-you-can” model. The nonprofit asks guests to pay either what they can afford, what they would typically pay or what they would normally pay plus a little extra.

When Lee visited, the restaurant was packed, so to not take the spotlight away from the eatery, the food critic didn’t order anything. Instead, Lee donated $4,000 to the nonprofit.

“Can you imagine if there’s a restaurant in every city where you can pay as you want or as you can?” Lee asked his followers.

Along with Dallas-Fort Worth, Lee recently visited Houston and called it his second-favorite food city in the country.
