Amber Alert discontinued for 14-year-old Houston girl reported missing Tuesday

An Amber Alert that was issued Tuesday night for a 14-year-old girl from Houston has been discontinued.

Houston Independent School District police were looking for Marisol Avila. The alert was canceled about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. Police did not immediately provide on update on whether the teen has been found.

She had last been seen in the 1100 block of Noble Street in Houston at about 9:20 a.m. Monday.

The suspect vehicle was described as a tan 1990 Subaru Forester. The license plate number is unknown.

Anyone with information about Avila and her whereabouts was asked to call Houston ISD police at 713-892-7777.
