It’s called a ‘mysterious pyramid house’ for a reason. And now it’s for sale in Texas

Against the aggressive blue of the vast Texas sky, a shadowy pyramid appears so very alone that it gives a “keep away” vibe.

Nevertheless, it’s for sale.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom residence is listed in Fort Davis, Texas, for a low $80,000 — but there’s a catch. There are no photos in the listing of the 2,116-square-foot home on Zillow.

Zip, zero, nada.

Yet, there are 15 beautifully shot pictures of nearly every angle of the exterior. Which could possibly mean one of two things are true: That the inside is a complete wasteland, or the mysterious factor will draw potential buyers.

“Super funky pyramid house in Historic Fort Davis/ West Texas on half an acre,” the listing says. “Downtown, walk to grocery store, coffee, shopping. Restore or build new. New construction is going up all around.”

The pyramid was the prime focus of Friday Night Zillow, a Twitter segment run by Bloomberg reporter Steven Dennis, and folks let their suspicions run rampant all over the social media site.

“Mysterious pyramid house. Texas. $80K. No interior pics,” Dennis said. “You know when Harrison Ford says he has a bad feeling in movies? Maybe we should buy it and make a murder mystery/aliens movie here.”

If there’s a trailer parked out back, that’s the primary residence and this place is a train wreck,” someone noted.

Given the gaping holes around the door/some windows that Pyramid isn’t watertight,” another tweeted. “I wonder how bad it is inside (particularly with the no interior shots).”

The falling-off-the-fence Lone Star looks like a metaphor too,” one person said.

For $38/sqft, I think it’s cheaper than my car!” another exclaimed.

Definite escape room theme park possibilities,” someone tweeted.

And then simply....

Nope.”

Fort Davis is about 200 miles southeast of El Paso.
