Multiple vehicles hit, kill 67-year-old woman on Interstate 20 in Weatherford
A 67-year-old Weatherford woman has been identified as the woman hit by several vehicles and killed early Friday on Interstate 20 in Weatherford, authorities said.
The victim was Sandra Sue Clough who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website on Monday.
She was pronounced dead shortly before 1:30 a.m. Friday on the highway.
Weatherford police responded to a major accident shortly after 1 a.m. Friday involving a single vehicle accident on eastbound Interstate 20 on the center median.
The driver of a white Jeep, later identified as Sandra Clough, had been ejected from her vehicle into the roadway, where she was struck by several vehicles, Weatherford police said Monday.
Cause of the crash was still under investigation.
