A Lewisville resident is $3 million richer now.

The lucky North Texan recently bought a scratch off lottery ticket — called $750 Million Winner’s Circle — in Highland Village.

And he or she ended up walking away with the top prize, worth $3 million prize.

The winner chose to remain anonymous.

What is known:

He or she bought the $30 ticket at Highland Village Chevron, 2290 Justin Road, in Highland Village.

The overall odds in this game: one in 2.88.

This was the second of 12 top prizes, each worth $3 million, to be claimed on this ticket.

A new state law went into effect last year that allows Texans who claim lottery prizes worth $1 million or more to prevent any personal information from being released to the public.
