Happy election season!

Candidate filing for the 2026 Democratic and Republican primaries ended at 6 p.m. on Dec. 8, solidifying the pool of candidates for the March elections.

Tarrant County voters will see familiar faces on the ballot, though the candidate may not be seeking the office you know them for— take State Rep. Tony Tinderholt’s bid for Tarrant County commissioner, U.S. Rep. Marc Veasey’s run for Tarrant County Judge or former Tarrant County GOP Chair Bo French’s Texas Railroad Commission campaign, for example.

Races on the ballot include statewide offices like U.S. senator and Texas governor, North Texas congressional seats, state lawmakers and county roles.

With election day just around the corner, here’s a list of who voters will see on the March 3, 2026 ballot for the Democratic and Republican primaries. The list from the Texas Secretary of State can filtered by election and office type (federal, state or county.)

The last day to register to vote is Feb. 2 and early voting runs from Feb. 17-Feb. 27.
