When do political signs have to be removed in Fort Worth?
Each county in Texas has its own rules regarding campaign sign postings. Tarrant County allows signs to be posted as early as 90 days before an election and must be taken down no later than 10 days after the election is over.
Campaign signs posted for the Nov. 5 election must be removed by at least Nov. 15.
How are signs placed along roadways removed?
Municipal workers or contractors may remove political signs placed or remaining in public right-of-way without notice, according to the Texas Ethics Commission. All costs associated with sign removal will be paid by the sign owner, the agency said.
