A Maryland man’s recent $50,000 win in the Pick 5 game was a dream come true — literally, lottery officials said.

The man told lottery officials he had a dream involving five numbers and money about a year ago, the Maryland Lottery said in a news release.

“I’ve had three super-vivid dreams in my life, and they all came true,” said the Montgomery County resident. “That’s how I knew this would happen.”

Inspired by his dream, the man began playing the numbers in the Pick 5 lottery game, officials said. On April 24, it paid off with a $50,000 prize.

“It was so exciting,” he said. “I look at the results every night expecting to see my numbers and finally they were there.”

Montgomery County is about a 45-mile drive southwest from Baltimore.
