Gambler hits slot machine jackpot with $1 bet at casino near Las Vegas. ‘Wow!’
A gambler bet $1 on a slot machine at a casino near Las Vegas and ended up with a big prize.
The player sat at a Dollar Storm slot machine on Saturday, April 5, at the Rainbow Club Casino in Henderson, the casino said in a Facebook post.
The local placed a bet, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.
He won $136,882.52.
“Unbelievable! Now, that’s some amazing Saturday morning news,” the casino said in the post.
The winner is a regular at the casino.
“The player stated that the jackpot is the most exciting thing that has happened to him,” the casino told McClatchy News on April 8.
“Oh my gosh. Congratulations!” one person commented on Facebook.
“Wow!” another person wrote.
Henderson is about a 15-mile drive southeast from Las Vegas.
